Privacy Policy

TLUP Command Centre ("TLUP", "we", "us") is a money management app for personal finances and small businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. The short version: your data is yours, we use it only to run the service, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, name and password (stored only as a secure hash) when you sign up.
  • Data you enter: business and personal records you create in the app, such as invoices, clients, income and expense entries, receipts, budgets, savings goals and notes.
  • Billing details: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe sends us only your subscription status and billing period.
  • Usage and technical data: basic information about how the app is used (pages visited, errors, device and browser type) so we can keep it reliable and improve it.

How we use it

  • To run the service: show your dashboard, produce your reports, send the emails you ask for (such as invoice reminders you trigger) and keep your account secure.
  • To provide optional AI features: if you are on the TLUP AI plan, relevant figures from your business records are sent to our AI provider to generate insights and recommendations. This data is used only to answer your request and is not used to train AI models.
  • To communicate with you: service emails (confirmations, password resets, trial reminders) and, only where you have enabled them, product notifications. You can turn optional emails off in Account → Notifications.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not show advertising.

Who can see your data

  • Your records are private to your account. Nobody else can see them unless you explicitly share them.
  • Share Reports links: when you create a share link (for example for your accountant), anyone with that link can view the reports it covers until it expires or you revoke it. You can revoke a link at any time.
  • Service providers: we use a small number of providers to operate the app, including cloud hosting and database (Lovable Cloud), payments (Stripe), email delivery and AI processing for AI-plan features. Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its function.
  • Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

How we protect it

  • Your data is stored in an encrypted database with row-level access controls, so each account can only read its own records.
  • Connections to the app are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Receipts and files you upload are stored in private storage and served through short-lived signed links.
  • No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least access: even our own tooling cannot read your records without going through the same permission checks.

Your choices and rights

  • Export: you can export your data at any time from the app. Your data is yours.
  • Correction: you can edit or delete any record you have entered.
  • Deletion: you can delete your account from Settings. Before a business is deleted, the app requires you to download an export so you never lose your records by accident.
  • Depending on where you live (for example under Canada's PIPEDA or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights such as access, portability and the right to complain to a regulator. Contact us and we will honour them.

Retention

  • We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete records or your account, the data is removed from our live systems; backups roll off on their normal cycle.
  • Share links expire automatically (30 days by default) and stop working once expired or revoked.

Children

  • TLUP Command Centre is intended for adults managing their money and business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes and contact

  • If we change this policy we will update the date below and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
